Man City and Spain midfielder Rodri wins men's Ballon d'Or.

Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri has won the men's Ballon d'Or - awarded to the best footballer of the year - for the first time.
The 28-year-old, who lost just one game last season for club and country, was awarded the prize in Paris after helping Spain win Euro 2024 in July.
He also won the Premier League, Uefa Super Cup and Club World Cup with City.
Rodri, the first player in the club's history to win the Ballon d'Or, claimed the award ahead of Real Madrid and Brazil winger Vinicius Jr.
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham was third - the highest an English player has finished in the award since Frank Lampard's second-place finish in 2005.
Real Madrid won the award for club of the year and their manager Carlo Ancelotti was the winner of the men's coach of the year award, but there was no-one from the club present to receive the prizes.
It was reported earlier on Monday that Real Madrid were boycotting the ceremony after reports Vinicius would not win the Ballon d'Or.
"A very special day for me, my family and my country," said Rodri, who appeared on stage on crutches after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in September.
"Today is not a victory for me, it is for Spanish football, for so many players who have not won it and have deserved it, like [Andres] Iniesta, Xavi [Hernandez], Iker [Casillas], Sergio Busquets, so many others. It is for Spanish football and for the figure of the midfielder."
Paris St-Germain extended their unbeaten run to nine games and remained top of Ligue 1 with a dominant victory over Marseille on Sunday.

Some Marseille fans left at half-time with their team behind by three goals and having had a man sent off in the first half.
PSG's Joao Neves opened the scoring for the visitors after just seven minutes, turning home from close range after a Nuno Mendes cross was palmed to his feet.
Marseille's fortunes rapidly worsened with Amine Harit being shown a straight red card in the 20th minute for a foul on Marquinhos before Leonardo Balerdi flicked an Achraf Hakimi cross into his own net.
PSG controlled the majority of the game, with Marseille's early's collapse providing a significant helping hand, and continued to probe for further goals.
They got their third through Bradley Barcola in the 40th minute, a comfortable finish after Ousmane Dembele sent a cross towards him at the back post.
English striker Mason Greenwood was brought off at half-time by manager Roberto de Zerbi after failing to make any real impression for a struggling Marseille side.
The hosts did, at least, manage to prevent PSG inflicting any further blows in the second half, but nevertheless they succumbed to a tough defeat and remain third, six points off the top.
PSG, who lead second-placed Monaco by three points, play Lens on Saturday in their next fixture (16:00 GMT).
Mohamed Salah's late equaliser gave Liverpool a point against Premier League title rivals Arsenal in an eventful encounter at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal led twice but were undermined by injuries to key defenders Gabriel and Jurrien Timber in the second half, having already been without the suspended William Saliba.
The setbacks allowed Liverpool to apply pressure and take a point, leaving Manchester City at the top of the table - with Arsenal now five points adrift of the relentless reigning champions.
Arsenal were rewarded for a fast start when Bukayo Saka bamboozled Andy Robertson to score his 50th Premier League goal, striking at the near post after nine minutes.
Their lead only lasted until the 18th minute when Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk equalised, nodding in from close range after Luis Diaz headed on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross at the near post.
Mikel Merino put Arsenal ahead again with a powerful header from Declan Rice's free-kick shortly before half-time.
Liverpool improved after the break and Salah equalised with a routine finish from Darwin Nunez's unselfish square ball after he had been set clear by Alexander-Arnold's superb pass. It leaves them a point behind Manchester City in second place.
Jose Mourinho was sent off as his Fenerbahce side came from behind to condemn his old club Manchester United to a third successive Europa League draw in Istanbul.

United had led at the break through Christian Eriksen’s fourth goal of the season.
But the hosts levelled four minutes after the restart when Youssef En-Nesyri got between United defenders to head home Allan Saint-Maximin’s cross from close range.
With the noise levels rising and excitement at fever pitch, Mourinho was red carded by French referee Clement Turpin just before the hour as he led the home side’s penalty claims after Bright Osayi-Samuel went down under a challenge by United midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
Despite furious protests from the Fenerbahce bench, VAR backed up Turpin’s view there was nothing illegal about the incident and Turpin came to the technical area to tell Mourinho to leave. The Portuguese took his time but eventually relocated to the steps at the front of the stand next to the dugouts, close enough to continue to give instructions to his coaching staff.
United had their chances to win the game but substitute Rasmus Hojlund opted to go alone rather than play a pass to the better placed Alejandro Garnacho and his shot rolled harmlessly through to home goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. Then Garnacho lost control of the ball as he ran into the area and that chance went begging too.
The visitors also failed to avoid another injury issue, as manager Erik ten Hag had hoped, as Brazilian wide-man Antony was stretchered off when he landed awkwardly after attempting an unnecessary flick by the touchline.
Richarlison scored from the penalty spot to help Tottenham maintain their perfect start in the Europa League with victory over AZ Alkmaar.

In his first start for Spurs this season after injury trouble, the Brazilian briefly argued with James Maddison about who should take the penalty after Maxim Dekker had kicked out at Lucas Bergvall in the box.
Captain Maddison relinquished the responsibility and Richarlison confidently sent the ball straight down the middle to hand Tottenham the decisive goal in the 53rd minute.
"Initially we both wanted to take it," Maddison told TNT Sports.
"I'm a senior player, I was captain today, I was going to take it, but I thought Richarlison has come back from an injury, it's difficult for a striker - a first goal gives confidence."
Ange Postecoglou's side had struggled to break down AZ's defence until then and could not make the most of their few clear-cut first-half chances.
Mikey Moore glanced a close-range header wide early on, while Timo Werner's problems in front of goal continued with two lacklustre efforts before he was replaced by Brennan Johnson for the second half.
But Spurs were much improved after the interval, with exciting English teenager Moore playing a starring role at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham came under pressure in parts, with Fraser Forster at full stretch to stop a looping header from Alexandre Penetra.
Former Spurs forward Troy Parrott, who moved to the Dutch side in July, had the chance to equalise with 15 minutes remaining but drilled his strike straight at Forster.
AZ were forced to play the last five minutes with 10 men, though, as David Moller Wolfe received a second yellow card.
Tottenham also had a late penalty appeal rejected when goalkeeper Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro appeared to bring down full-back Destiny Udogie.
The result leaves Spurs on nine points from three games in the Europa League, although tougher tests lie in store with Galatasaray and Roma to follow in November.
