Vinicius Jr scored a hat-trick as Real Madrid produced a stunning second-half comeback from 2-0 down to beat Borussia Dortmund 5-2.

Goals from Donyell Malen and Englishman Jamie Gittens gave Dortmund a comfortable lead at half-time in a repeat of last year's final which Real won 2-0.
Antonio Rudiger pulled a goal back for the Spanish champions with a towering header in the 60th minute before Vinicius Jr levelled two minutes later.
Captain Lucas Vazquez made it 3-2 to the hosts with a driven finish from a tight angle in the 83rd minute.
Vinicius Jr then scored two late goals to take the game out of Dortmund's reach, with both strikes coming after impressive solo runs.
Arsenal beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League thanks to an own goal by goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk as they bounced back from defeat by Bournemouth at the weekend.

Gabriel Martinelli’s effort in the 29th minute bounced off the post and hit the Shakhtar keeper in the back before trickling over the line as the home side's dominance paid off.
The Gunners started the match brightly and Riccardo Calafiori should have opened the scoring, before Gabriel Jesus had a good chance after the goal but was denied by Riznyk.
Shakhtar were well organised and provided a threat on the counter-attack with winger Eguinaldo keeping the Arsenal backline on their toes.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side are already struggling with injury problems and were without captain Martin Odegaard and key man Bukayo Saka.
The Spanish boss may have more problems to think about as Ben White did not come out for the second half, although he was on a yellow card, and Calafiori was withdrawn after receiving treatment following an awkward slip.
Leandro Trossard had the chance to score a second for Arsenal from the penalty spot late on, after the video assistant referee deemed Valerii Bondar's arm to be in an unnatural position, but his effort was poor and saved by the impressive Riznyk.
Pedrinho almost snatched a draw for the away side in stoppage time but his effort from the edge of the box was excellently saved by David Raya.
Arsenal will be delighted to be back to winning ways after what they hope was a blip against Bournemouth and now can focus on a crucial game against top-of-the-table Liverpool on Sunday.
John Stones' dramatic stoppage-time winner kept Manchester City in touch with Premier League leaders Liverpool as the champions beat battling Wolves.

The defender's header - in the fifth minute of injury time - was given when referee Chris Kavanagh awarded the goal on review, to the hosts' fury, after it was initially ruled out for offside.
Josko Gvardiol had earlier cancelled out Jorgen Strand Larsen's opener for Wolves, who remain winless this season and are bottom of the Premier League.
City made the early running at Molineux but were stunned on seven minutes when neat build-up play sent Nelson Semedo away and his brilliant cross, which bypassed four visiting defenders, was tapped in by Strand Larsen.
The recalled Jose Sa, replacing the injured Sam Johnstone in goal, denied Bernardo Silva soon after as City controlled the game, but they had to wait until the 33rd minute to level when Gvardiol found the top corner from 20 yards.
Yet it did not give them an immediate platform for victory and the visitors were met by an undaunted opponent who denied them space, although only an excellent low save from Sa denied Savinho in first-half stoppage time.
Another Sa stop kept Ruben Dias out as City camped in the hosts' half but they were almost caught out by a rare Wolves break, Matheus Cunha shooting wide.
Pep Guardiola summoned Phil Foden and Jack Grealish from the bench but City were made to wait until deep into stoppage time to find a winner.
Stones headed in Foden's corner, only for Silva to be ruled offside as he was standing in front of Sa, but, with the City players watching on, referee Kavanagh gave the goal to break Wolves' hearts.
Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League with victory over Chelsea at Anfield as manager Arne Slot's outstanding start continued.
20 Oct 2024
The Dutchman is the first Liverpool boss to win 10 of his first 11 games, this latest triumph sending them a point clear of Manchester City following their dramatic stoppage-time victory at Wolves earlier.
Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead from the spot after 29 minutes following Levi Colwill’s foul on Curtis Jones, though a second penalty awarded on the stroke of half-time for Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez's block on the same player was overturned by the video assistant referee (VAR) after initially being awarded by referee John Brooks.
Chelsea took advantage of that VAR reprieve to equalise three minutes after the break, Nicolas Jackson racing clear to score, the goal awarded after being ruled out for offside.
Liverpool took only three minutes to restore their lead, Jones stealing in at the far post to steer Salah's cross past a hesitant Sanchez in front of a joyous Kop.
It mean Slot's only loss since succeeding Jurgen Klopp was to Nottingham Forest at Anfield in September, while this was Chelsea's first league defeat under new manager Enzo Maresca since the opening-weekend home reverse against Manchester City.
Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick to help Inter Miami beat New England Revolution 6-2 as his side set a points record for a regular Major League Soccer campaign.
20 Oct 2024
The victory in their final game of the 34-match regular season took Miami to 74 points and meant they beat the previous record of 73 points set by the Revolution in 2021.
Miami, who had already secured the MLS Supporters' Shield, which is given to the club with the best regular-season record, went 2-0 behind against the Revolution following goals from Luca Langoni and Dylan Borrero.
A Luis Suarez double levelled the match before the introduction of Messi after 58 minutes helped Miami kick on to claim victory.
The 37-year-old Argentina forward, who scored a hat-trick in midweek for his country against Bolivia, played a part in Benjamin Cremaschi putting Miami 3-2 in front.
Messi scored his first goal of the match when he powered in a left-foot shot from just outside the area after combining with former Uruguay international Suarez.
He then side-footed in a second before adding his third - and 20th of the MLS season - following a Suarez cross.
Miami, who have been named as the latest addition to the Fifa Club World Cup in 2025, will now go into the MLS play-offs as they try to secure the MLS Cup.
